I enjoy spending beautiful spring evenings wandering in the iconic Quartier Latin and losing myself (sort of ... since I feel I know each and every cobblestone of it ...) in the medieval streets.
Near the Seine river and Notre Dame, the bookstore Shakespeare and company is a Parisian literary institution. It is a great place to find English books, old and new, in a unique "old fashionned-vintage-bohemian" atmosphere. The whole story of the place this way ...

ça fait longtemps que je n'y suis pas allé.
la dernière fois le propriétaire, anglais jusqu'au bout des ongles, mangeait des oeufs brouillés sur sa petite chaise. Le genre de scène que j'aurais adoré photographier:)

Oh je l'adore cette librairie! Elle est toujours là !!! Quel charme . cela fait un sacré moment que je ne l'avais vue... Elle vieillit de mieux en mieux!
@Isabelle. Moi aussi j'adore cet endroit, et le petit square à côté, devant l'église Saint Julien le pauvre. C'est typique ;o)
